Hey, I'm Thy Hà, a Vietnamese designer based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. I design websites and fonts, and run my type design practice Mai Type.
I'm a member of Lưu Chữ, a Vietnamese typography collective and Counter Forms, a platform for emerging antipodean designers. I'm also a sessional academic at RMIT University.
As a Vietnamese person living and working on Wurundjeri land in the Kulin Nation, I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people's deep and ongoing connection to these lands and waters, their care, their relationship, and their sovereignty. I recognise that I am an uninvited guest on Country that was never ceded, and I pay my respects to Elders past, present and future.
