Optimising user experience in the realm of psychology
As the UX/UI designer at Rock Agency, I had the privilege of spearheading the design initiative for Mindspace TV, a revolutionary platform tailored specifically for psychologists. Our mission was clear: create a contemporary, friendly, and visually engaging website equipped with eCommerce functionality, empowering psychologists with a subscription-based model to access a rich library of resources and videos. This case study delves into the key aspects of our design strategy, from user flows to intuitive search functionality, highlighting the meticulous process that resulted in an enhanced user experience.
- Strategic User Flows: Our approach involved the creation of multiple user flows, strategically designed to empower both clients and therapists. This not only allowed users to explore free content but also facilitated a trial experience for the subscription service. The goal was to enhance user engagement and encourage seamless navigation through the platform.
- Content Organisation: Recognising the diverse needs of both clients and therapists, we implemented an intuitive and quick-to-find search functionality. Clear content organisation ensures that the site remains clean and navigable, even as the library of resources and videos expands. This approach guarantees a lasting and valuable experience for the end-users.
- Client-Centric Design: To amplify the user experience, we delineated resources for two distinct user groups – clients and therapists. This thoughtful categorisation ensures that each audience can easily access the content relevant to their needs, enhancing the overall usability of Mindspace TV.
